Baltimore Avenue 2011

I've been looking at the intersection of 47th and Baltimore. Recently, I've been going there every Thursday at 6 pm right before pottery open studio to do my Thursday Walk. Usually the same people are on the corner. The guys from the Hair Lounge and friends. The Denizens of Abbeys Desert Lounge in the doorways.

Utata Thursday Walks

Two years ago my blog focus was the garden. Weekly I looked at and recorded changes both in my plot and aroud the garden. Fun. Last year I did a 365 and "intended to blog it but didn't. Now I think the Utata Thursday Walk will be the focus, so here it goes. Most of the time I walk a familiar route.This allows me to see changes and to find new visual information to record. My destination was the garden. I knew my favorite iris patch was blooming, the red iris group at 47th and Cedar so I would walk past it, first past the green truck currently at 48th ad Hazel and onward. I walked down to 47th and saw this little dog, a bit shy, tied up on one of the crocheted posts, what are we, in Portlandia?).
